This is a home renovation project that we completed for our clients in 2016 (yes, I’m still playing catch up with the portfolio). This home had been a rental as the family was living in Seattle for the last few years. The husband recently took a job with a company locally so they were relocating back to the Bay Area. We had a very short window to get the house updated and upgraded before the entire family moved back with a set of grandparents in tow.
I love technology and how it makes communicating with clients today so much easier. Besides email and text messages, we were also able to Facetime the wife to get feedback on floor stain colors, paint colors and other things. So fun!
Enjoy the video home tour I put together below. Something I’ve never done before but I’ve included in this video was some of my many WTF moments. They always happen, but this particular project was off the charts with the newbie General Contractor we hired. Unfortunately, when the budget is tight and his price is right, that comes with unwanted baggage. I could not wait to be done with him. He truly was a piece of work. He was so disorganized, scattered, didn’t know things but wouldn’t admit it, the list goes on… As long as in the end the client is happy with the results which they were, I’m happy. Let me know what you think.
